Vikram Srikonda, Co-President

Arnav is a 4th-year student from Massachusetts majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. He previously managed research projects as a VP of Research for PDI and led a project studying the labor force effects of the 2023 Chicago migrant influx. He is particularly interested in emerging technology policy, especially AI and biotechnology governance. Outside of PDI, he enjoys traveling, writing, and going for long bike rides along Lake Michigan.

Vikram is a 4th-year student from Columbus, OH majoring in Economics. His previous roles in PDI include supporting projects as VP of Research and leading a project on pedestrian accessibility in Southeast Chicago. Outside of PDI, he enjoys playing music, watching Test cricket, and exploring the South Side.

Madeline Bryant, VP of Recruitment and Community Cohesion

My name is Gerard Blake, and I am from San Diego. I am a member of the University of Chicago Class of 2028, majoring in History with a minor in Biology. Outside of my academic interests, I enjoy reading books, exercising, and staying active.

Madeline is a third-year student from Louisiana majoring in Public Policy Studies and minoring in Data Science.

Vedika Baradwaj is a third-year student majoring in Economics and Public Policy Studies.

Sarah is a fourth-year majoring in Economics and Public Policy. She is from Great Falls, VA. She has been in PDI since her first year, and has previously led a project on Criminal Justice. She is interested in macroeconomics and forecasting, and plans to work in DC after graduating.

Jurain is a second-year student from Nanjing, China majoring in Anthropology and Economics. She was in the IKS & Climate Change project team last year. Outside of PDI, she loves watching dance dramas and films.

Anushka is a third year from California majoring in Economics and Statistics. She is co-leading the Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Climate Action project.

Julia Volpp is a second-year student majoring in Public Policy Studies. She is co-leading the Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Climate Action project.

Madeline Bryant is a second-year student majoring in Public Policy Studies. She is leading the Libraries and Community Engagement project.

Lilah Bachrach is a second-year student majoring in Public Policy Studies and Business Economics. She is co-leading the Investigating the Socioeconomic Impact of Transit Initiatives in Chicago project.

Sophia is a third-year from New York City studying Public Policy and Law, Letters, & Society. She has been in PDI since her first year, and was a project lead on the Urban Transportation project last year. Outside of PDI, she loves knitting, watching baseball, and running (slowly).

Raymond Ha is a third-year student majoring in Economics. He is leading the Effects of State-Based Direct Democracy Measures project.

Vedika Baradwaj is a second-year student majoring in Economics and Public Policy Studies. She is leading the Analysis of Illinois Pension Reform project.
